1. Prior to Cairn Partners, what was the most unusual or interesting job you have ever had?

At one time in College I worked in construction over Christmas Break to make some extra cash and learned how to be a “Powder Monkey”.  I was in charge of drilling into bedrock and setting explosives to clear the ground for new construction.

2.  How do you balance your career at Cairn Partners and family?

That is a tough question.  My family may say I do not.  When not traveling, I always go to my daughters’ sporting events and extracurricular activities.  We take at least one long family vacation every year.  Owning a business is like having an extra child.  It takes a lot of nurturing and attention.  Thankfully, I have the best team in the business to make work fun and exciting every day!
